Capacity Building and Young Organic Farmers

Focusing on inter-generational learning among elders, young and new generation farmers is important for the future of sustainable agriculture to learn lessons from the past, as well as local wisdom in the form of skills, stories and ideas are passed on, and integrated into the creation of solutions for today’s challenges. Therefore, young people are the key agent for social change, especially, the roles of future leaders need to be strengthened through capacity development activities. Building capacities and networking for new generation rural leaders / farmers are important of organic farming and agro-ecology in the region
